It is our Science which makes our product truly unique in the marketplace. No other manufacturer can do what we do inside the cabinet. We recommend de-mineralized water to protect the instrument(s) and prevent mist nozzle clogging. Excess water used during humidification cycles is recycled within the system. Water that is removed from the system during de-humidification cycles is also recycled. Water reservoir level detectors monitor over/under conditions and provide warnings to the user.
Display cabinet temperature is maintained by modulating current to thermoeclectric devices in response to differences between the chamber and the temperature setpoint. The same hardware is capable of providing both heating and cooling to the cabinet. Circulating fans provide continuous air flow across the control elements.
Display cabinet relative humidity (RH) is maintained via two methods. If the cabinet RH is greater than the RH setpoint, the system modulates the chamber circulating fan speed across a thermoclectric device thereby creating a relative dewpoint micro-climate at the cooling fins. Water coalesces out of the air stream and is captured in the water reservoir. If the cabinet RH is less than the RH setpoint, the system activates a time modulated micro-pump that admits a precise amount of water to a misting nozzle for immediate dispersion into the air stream. The water for this function is drawn from the reservoir.
